![]() Then I added my kitty cat ears to finish off the look! ![]() This helped to create my kitty cat face to go along with my sparkle ears! Lastly, I curled my hair and fluffed/teased it a little bit to give it a bit of a tousled look (I use this curling iron and this texturizing spray to help give my hair more volume). Last, I used the same black eyeliner to line and fill in my top lip and concealer and pressed powder to fill in my bottom lip. Next, I used a regular black eyeliner pencil to draw on whiskers and a kitty nose. Next, I went to work on turning my face into a kitty cat! I did my face makeup like normal, then used liquid black eyeliner to apply cat eye makeup. I threw on my Spanx Faux Leather Leggings and paired it with a black fitted bodysuit and black flats. By the next morning, they were dry and I was ready to put together my outfit for Halloween! I went home with my find and went to work! I had some rhinestone jewels that were about the same size in my craft box so I took some superglue and glued them into the places on the ears that the jewels had fallen off. ![]() (I can’t find it on the Walmart website anymore, but found a super similar one on Amazon for under $8!) I think it was initially $4 or $5, but I brought it up to the register and asked if I could have a discount since a few of the stones were missing and the manager ended up selling it to me for $1. I DID however manage to find a rhinestone kitty cat ears headband, that had 2 stones missing from it haha. I went to Walmart to look at what they had available and of course, most of the stuff was picked over. Last year, I decided the day before Halloween that I wanted to dress up as something for work and get into the festive spirit (even though I had about 4 bags of candy at home and some might argue I was already in the festive spirit lol). ![]() Today I wanted to share a costume idea that’s SUPER easy to replicate and is perfect no matter what your plans may be! I LOVE IT haha!įor the costumes, even though Jordan and I usually don’t do too much for Halloween, I always love getting a costume and getting into the spirit of things, even if I just wear it to work or out and about on Halloween heehee. From the movies, to the costumes, to the candyyyyyy, I LOVE IT! I think it’s so much fun and I always have a good time decorating the house and finding fun costumes and buying up all the candy in the store, just to eat most of it the week before and have to go out the day of and get more at an up-charged rate. Let me begin by saying I loveeeee Halloween. Happy 1st day of OCTOBER!!!!! I can’t believe it’s FINALLY October, my favorite month out of the entire year!! Which means, it’s officially time to start talking about ALL THINGS Halloween!! Paint a black nose and whiskers on your child’s face.THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. Now all you need are the ears, some black clothes and some face paint. Or if you have a black bathrobe or dressing gown belt, pin the tail to that and then tie around waist. Stuff it with cotton wool so it looks like a real cat’s tail. You could use a sewing machine for this bit if you are lucky enough to have one. Now glue or sew the edges together – all around but leave the top end open so you can turn it right side out when you’re done. Cut a rounded tip to the end of the tail. To make a cat’s tail fold your strip of polar fleece in half lengthways, with the right sides together. Kids are fascinated by tails, so don’t assume you can skip this bit! When you’re finished the cat’s ears, start on the cat’s tail. You’ll find the instructions and free printable template on this page here.
